Living in the Middle East 🇸🇦

Who would've thought, living in the Middle East has been one of my life unforgettable experiences?
A lot of people hold a lot of misconceptions about life in the Middle East. And I'm guilty to be one of those people. Not until, I was offered a job to work as a Nurse in the Country.
Saudi Arabia is not for everyone.
There are a number of things to consider - dress code, gender segregation, unallowed Public Display of Affection (PDA), just to name a few. So if you're used to partying and drinking every night, love to disobey rules, can't stand being alone, then you will really have a hard time settling. It would also depends on your lifestyle back when you were still in your hometown and the values you uphold. Like every other country, it has it's own rules that we need to follow and obey. So if you don't agree with their rules, you can always go home.
Here are some things I love about living in Saudi Arabia
It has low crime mortality - due to harsh penalties, citizens and non-citizens rarely commit crimes. Police patrols are scattered everywhere in the streets.
You can wear anything under your Abaya (for women)- No dress to impress since everything is covered underneath the abaya.
It's a unique country- not everyone get the chance to access the country and experience it's unique culture first hand.
Healthy food - organic food, fruits and vegetables are very cheap!
Not much traffic - they have wide roads and excellent traffic regulations.
You can still have fun!
You can still swim and wear your bikini..
You can still eat out..
And fall in love... ❤️🥰
Life is not meant to be stagnant.
When there's an opportunity, grab it. You'll never know, you might end up loving it. Like how I end up loving Saudi Arabia. Just grateful to be surrounded with beautiful people and colleagues.
